This afternoon there was a commotion in the Flemish Parliament during a debate about the language and arithmetic gap among people with a migration background. Koen Daniëls (N-VA) claimed that he heard Chris Janssens (Vlaams Belang) say that education minister Zuhal Demir (N-VA) might also have been better off returning to her country. Demir reacted in disbelief.
