“You can almost call these alien clouds”: rare luminous night clouds appear again above Flanders

Every year at the start of summer you have a chance to see a special weather phenomenon: the luminous night cloud. Last night it was already that far above Flanders. HLN science expert Martijn Peters explains how this rare cloud is formed and when it is best to look up on a clear evening. “You could almost call these alien clouds.”
