Online fashion retailer Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP) is expanding its resale offering into new markets.
The platforms Net-A-Porter, Yoox and The Outnet now also offer the resale option in Italy and France, YNAP announced on Wednesday. This means that customers in the two markets as well as in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Germany can now buy used ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories and jewelery from YNAP retailers. In the spring of 2023, the markets of Australia, South Korea and the Middle East are to be added.
Men’s sneakers: Mr Porter and The Outnet launch buy-it-now service
Mr Porter and The Outnet are also expanding their men’s sneaker resale service. For selected brands, the platforms offer an instant buyback service, where customers receive credit directly without having to wait for the men’s shoe to be resold. Net-A-Porter and The Outnet are already offering a buyback offer for women’s handbags.
Yoox Net-A-Porter launched the resale service last fall, partnering with Reflaunt, a resale technology provider.
