MKE Ankaragücü recently parted ways with sports director Emre Yıldız. Yılmaz Bal was appointed as the sports director vacated by Yıldız. Yılmaz Bal is expected to start his duty in the Capital team in a short time. Bal, who also served as sports director at Çaykur Rizespor for a while, last worked at the 1st League team Manisa FK in 2021. Yılmaz Bal previously played as a goalkeeper for Ankaragücü and also served as a goalkeeper coach.
