The player, his entourage and the club have in fact reached an agreement for a contract extension from 2029 to 2030 with a significant adjustment of the salary, which will be tripled to around 6 million euros. He is the half of Dusan Vlahovic, who however benefits from an old-time contract inflated by a “loyalty bonus” agreed upon at the time of the transfer to Turin in 2022, but Yildiz will effectively join Jonathan David as the highest paid player in Juventus from 1 July, when the Serbian center forward will leave Juventus on a free transfer. The fans, therefore, can rest assured: the old contract exposed the 20-year-old from Regensburg to possible discontent and the intense courtship of top European clubs. Yildiz had renewed his contract in the summer of 2024 and after a year and a half he has already become the team’s top scorer (at just twenty years old, remember); Spalletti arrived at the end of October and after three months he has already transformed a team that in words wanted everything and achieved too little on the pitch. Together, they can design a new future for the Lady: starting tonight, in Parma, with the number ten among the starters. Yes, forty-five minutes of rest can be enough.
