Ordering all types of drugs and medicines has never been as easy as with the ‘good guests’ from the Breda region. Between January 2023 and July 2024 this drug gang had thousands of customers and the trade ran like a train. But that also caught the attention of the police and so the drug gang was rolled up. Three main suspects were in prison from the court in Breda in Breda and the fourth was in prison.
Raymond van G. (53) from Etten-Leur, Mark D. (37) from Breda and the couple Jim B. (33) and Roos V. (33) from Made together formed the brain behind the drug organization good guests. They managed the order telephone on which the orders flowed in via WhatsApp, managed the stock and sent the drivers on the road in Breda and Wijde Regio.
365 days a year, the good guests were available for all conceivable drugs and medicines. They had grilles for the drivers, whom they called their ‘fighters’. In their telephones, price lists and memos were found about refueling, who calls and the stock.
Message from the police
Things were lubricated. In the Deal Teloon, the numbers of no fewer than 4500 customers from the Breda region were. After the arrests of the four leaders, they all received an SMS from the police with the warning not to buy drugs in this way and seek help with addiction.
Because all types of drugs were easy to buy in exchange for cash with the good guests: from cocaine, heroin and LSD to amphetamine and all kinds of pills and hip designer drugs. Also medicines such as Xanax, Ritalin or Kamagra were no problem with the good guests.
‘Thanks to you we are the biggest’
But if there are thousands of customers, the police are also quickly informed. And the many contacts and the recruiting texts via WhatsApp attracted attention. In June 2024, the good guests still wrote to their customers that things were going so well. They wanted to let us know that there was a new price list and new drivers and also thanked their customers: “Thanks to you we are the biggest.”
The police kept an eye on the organization for a year. A garage box was found in Etten-Leur, with about ten kilos of drugs. Phones were explained and images were made of the houses of the four main suspects. Cocaine was also purchased several times by agents to test the procedure.
Drugs and money taken away
On July 9 last year, the four main suspects were eventually arrested and a lot of drugs, money and other matters were seized. Raymond van G., Jim B. and Roos V. quickly acquainted their share in drug trafficking and chose to make a deal with the judiciary in exchange for a quarter of a sentence. Instead of forty months, thirty months in prison, after approval from the court, wait.
The fourth main suspect, Mark D. from Breda, would, according to the judiciary, would also be one of the brains behind good guests. But unlike the other three, he denied at high and low that he had to deal with it. And with that he seems to have cut his fingers. He did not receive a discount from the court and therefore has to sit for 40 months instead of 30.
Luxury life
D., who originally came from Iraq, had answers everywhere during the session, who came down to that he really knew nothing and had nothing to do with it. Although he had little money, he was in the Maldives with his friends, he had a sneaker collection of 36 pairs, went through thousands of euros through Tikkies and crypto accounts and received a lot of money. Together there was more than 2.5 tons of income, of which he could not really explain the origin with a gross wage of 3300 euros.
The court believes that D. has not been able to give any credible explanation for having the rotating dealphone, which was found on his bed, and the enormous sums of money and judges that he had the same share in the drug gang as the other three.
Fatbike taken away
The amount of money will try to deprive the judiciary through a separate procedure. He has lost the sneakers and other things he has obtained through money laundering, such as a fatbike. The man was temporarily released to map the origin of money and things, but did not succeed at all.
