Yann Tiersen’s tour is postponed

Due to the pandemic, Yann Tiersen’s planned appearances in Hamburg and Düsseldorf, presented by ROLLING STONE, have to be canceled without replacement. The concert in Berlin will be postponed to September 10, 2022. The tickets for Berlin remain valid. Tickets for the dates in Hamburg and Düsseldorf can be returned to the respective ticket offices.

The “Amélie” musician released the following statement: “Due to the ongoing Covid situation and restrictions across Europe, we have unfortunately been forced to make the difficult decision to postpone Yann’s upcoming European tour”.

It continued: “Unfortunately we weren’t able to reschedule all of the shows, but we were able to add a handful of others. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience this may have caused. All original tickets remain valid for the new dates. I look forward to seeing you all soon!”.

The following concerts in Germany are affected:

  • September 10, 2022 Berlin – Tempodrom, relocated from February 4, 2022
  • February 2nd, 2022 Hamburg – Laeiszhalle, canceled without replacement
  • February 9th, 2022 Düsseldorf – Tonhalle, canceled without replacement

Tiersen’s current album “Kerber” was released in August 2021. The multi-instrumentalist then continues to pursue his vision of “musical anarchy” and this time turns to electronic sounds more than ever.
