Nothing seems to stand in the way of a transfer from Xavi Simons to PSV. The 19-year-old midfielder of Paris Saint-Germain was spotted in the center of Eindhoven on Tuesday in the presence of Bas Roorda, the PSV team manager.
Radio reporter Ramon Petit of Studio040 posted a photo of Simons and Roorda on Twitter. It is not a big surprise that Simons has arrived in Eindhoven. Earlier it was announced that PSV is working on bringing the talented midfielder to Eindhoven.
Simons has been regarded as a great talent for years. He played in the youth academy of FC Barcelona. In 2019 he left for Paris Saint-Germain. He made six appearances in the main squad last season for that club. It is very likely that Simons will be hired by PSV.
PSV already attracted two goalkeepers this transfer period. Walter Benitez came over from OSG Nice on a free transfer and Boy Waterman was brought in as third keeper. Ki-Jana Hoever has been hired from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a year.
