Xavi expects revenge from FC Barcelona in Munich: ‘Look much better’ | Champions League

Xavi had only just been appointed as coach last season when he lost the decisive group match against Barcelona 3-0. The Catalans therefore missed out on a place in the eighth finals of the Champions League. It was not the first time that Barcelona went under against Bayern. In August 2020, the German record champion humiliated Barça 8-2 in Nou Camp.

,,We are playing against one of the best teams in the world. We haven’t won here in this stadium yet,” said Xavi, who is satisfied with the start of striker Robert Lewandowski who came over from Bayern Munich. ,,It will of course be a special match for him. He is a true leader on the field. Robert will be very motivated on Tuesday.”
