Even though it has only been around for three years, the bicycle dedication has become a tradition in Marke, as chairman Bernard Vlieghe says: “We started it three years ago, and we actually do that to make it a safe cycling year.”
It remains a unique event, such a bicycle dedication. “We are one of the only teams in the region that still does this,” says Vlieghe.
