Last year, the police have felt about as many crimes as in 2023, according to figures that the Central Bureau of Statistics brings out on Tuesday. But under the surface a number of worrying trends can be seen: more violent burglaries, more illegal possession of weapons and even a doubling of the number of fornication cases.
