After the enormous success of the 2023 edition, the largest radio event in Italy in recent years, the World Radio Day 2024 is in the home stretch: next February 13th world radio day established by UNESCO will be celebrated with a major event in Milan which will see all national radio stations were involvedretail, web, DAB, university, in-store and corporate.

The numbers of the last edition of World Radio Day were mind-boggling: 40 radio stars, 55 main partners, 184 media partners and over 10,000 people reached thanks to the live streaming of the event. Also for this 2024 it was decided to do things big, choosing a suggestive location like the Talent Garden Calabiana in Via Arcivescovo Calabiana 6 in Milan. The list of radio stars who will take part in the event is still being defined, but the names already confirmed clarify the scope of the party. World Radio Day, or world radio day in Italian, was established by UNESCO in 2011 on the proposal of the Spanish Radio Academy and the day chosen was not at all accidental: the February 13 marks the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations Radio in 1946, the United Nations radio.
