In 2030 it should be 64 at the end. How do you see the whole thing? That is also played there for weeks. So the time is of course logically extended. See the whole thing a bit critically, this development that more and more nations are there.
So I see that completely critically from the perspective of a trainer, because of course the health or quality of the players is always at the very first place. I was not necessarily the friend of a club world championship that takes over so long that 64 nations participated in the middle of the World Cup. I heard that half a year ago that FIFA talks about it and also drives such planning. So I think that’s completely exaggerated. In my 48 teams, let’s say that we want to get a loss of quality or the smaller ones. But a World Cup EM also lives from high -class games. People want to see that. And 64 teams are completely exaggerated for me, because it takes five or six weeks even and that absolutely makes no sense.
