Emma Aicher celebrated several successes not only at the Olympic Games. The young ski racer also excelled in the World Cup season. That pays off.

The figures from the International Ski and Snowboard Association Fis show: The Swiss overall World Cup winner Marco Odermatt collected 741,254 euros in prize money last season. The German Emma Aicher follows in second place in the women’s ranking with 387,265.50 euros – behind the American Mikaela Shiffrin. Aicher finished the season second in the overall World Cup, was also second in the downhill and third in the Super-G. She even won three World Cups.

As the top earner among women, Shiffrin earned 615,167 euros. The Austrian Julia Scheib took third place with 340,942 euros. Kira Weidle-Winkelmann came in 13th place with 136,479 euros, Lena Dürr with 76,040 euros and 25th place.

Among the men, Odermatt is followed by the Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen in second place with 359,264 euros. Braathen is Brazil’s first Winter Olympic champion. The Swiss Loic Meillard came third with 317,325 euros. The best German is Linus Straßer in 29th place with 50,968 euros.
