The Cepovett SAS Group, based in Gleize, France, is expanding throughout Europe in the field of workwear, including the Cepovett Safety and Lafont brands. In Germany, the French market leader had already founded A. Lafont GmbH in Moorrege near Hamburg for the DACH sales region in September 2021. This is now starting its operative business.
New offices are also located in the UK and in the Netherlands for the Benelux region. As one of the largest European manufacturers, the group has been developing and producing high-quality, functional and attractive workwear and workwear in its own production facilities since 1844. At the end of January 2022, Lafont announced the official exclusive partnership with the Michelin guide.
“With our complete range of workwear, we are one of the few manufacturers able to serve the areas of workwear & safety as well as the hotel, catering, medical and care sectors with innovative and high-quality products and clothing solutions. We plan to sell the products via wholesalers, stationary specialist retailers and online retailers as well as via laundries and laundry leasing companies,” explains Stephan Schölermann, Country Manager A. The company has filled the management positions for the DACH region with two experienced managers: As Country Manager, Stephan Schölermann brings more than 20 years of management and sales experience from various companies in the hotel, restaurant and catering sectors as well as medicine and care. As Country Manager, he is responsible for these segments as well as for the strategic orientation of the company in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
With Torben Nöckel as Head of Sales Workwear & Safety DACH, A. Lafont was able to gain an experienced sales manager and certified PPE consultant. Workwear in the area of PSA (personal protective equipment) with its special requirements for occupational safety and security is a focus of the manufacturer.
The company has a modern, fully automated warehouse and logistics center, German-speaking customer service and services for personalizing workwear for its customers.
The Cepovett SAS Group has around 270 employees and owns six production sites. The group of companies is responsible for product development, design and sustainable production and also offers personalization services and logistics solutions.
