The Jetten cabinet wants to increase the age at which people first receive their state pension. The trade unions are opposed to this cut in the statutory basic pension and employers are also not interested in it. Jetten is ‘optimistic’ that it will be possible to reach a social agreement with trade unions and employers. What is the current state of the AOW and what would change?
