Novara continues its positive streak by defeating Smi Roma at the PalaTiziano. Bernardi’s girls dominated the match in the first and third sets, closing them with a wide margin. In the second the Wolves, without top scorer Orvosova and spiker Melli, replaced by Adelusi and Schoelzel, took the lead, taking the lead and putting the Piedmontese in difficulty. A few too many errors, especially gratuitous ones, benefited the sextet from Novara. Tolok (MVP and top scorer) left no chance for the Giallorossi, playing an impressive match. The difference in attack was felt (25% Rome versus 41% Novara), as was the difference in defence. Novara remains firmly in third place at 38, while Roma is tied at 10 points by Talmassons who yesterday won 1 point against Vallefoglia.

The Bisontine put their heart and soul into the third set, but were unable to stop the Pinelle’s desire for redemption after the defeat in the derby against Cuneo last week. The libero Moro (Mvp), Sorokaite and Smarzek (both 15 points) did very well for Pinerolo. For Florence many errors (25, of which 16 served) which skewed the match in favor of the hosts. Malual underperforms (14 points with 30% in attack). In the standings, Pinerolo is in ninth place with 18 points, ahead of Florence, which is stuck at 14.
