Shock: HSV player collapses after game

Hamburg narrowly loses the game against Union Berlin. But after the final whistle there is a moment of shock. The club has already given an update.
Defender Magou Doucouré from Bundesliga soccer club Hamburger SV collapsed on the pitch after the home game against Union Berlin on Friday (0-1) and was taken to hospital. The 25-year-old French woman was “responsive and stable again” when she was transported from the Volksparkstadion site, an HSV statement said.
“We are all still shocked by this incident,” said HSV board member Eric Huwer: “Our colleagues reacted immediately and did everything humanly possible. We are relieved that the initial feedback is cautiously positive. We are keeping our fingers crossed, thinking of Magou and hoping that she gets back on her feet quickly.”
