Dominant FC Bayern bounces off the Bayer defense
Leverkusen, whose chances for the runner -up and the move into the Champions League have deteriorated significantly, made it difficult for the Munich women. The hosts dominated the game right from the start, but they had problems overcoming the dense Bayer defensive.

Bühl hits the goal first, then Schüller’s head
At the beginning of the second round, Leverkusen became braver – but that revenge. Munich switched quickly, Harder put on the left side to Bühl and after a short solo with a rich left shot placed in the far corner – the 1-0 for FC Bayern (56.). It was the sixth goal of the national player – her best since the 2020/21 season.
In the 1-0, Bühl had shone as an executor, 2-0 in her parade discipline. With a precise flank, the 24-year-old prepared a goal of the Bayern women for the tenth time this season, this time her cross landed on the head of Lea Schüller (68th). The Munich women were too strong for Leverkusen, especially because of Bühl.
Bayer tried it again in the final phase, but was against the ripped off Bavaria without an opportunity. The team of coach Alexander Straus succeeded after the clear elimination of the Champions League at Olympique Lyon (1: 4) and can remove further doubts about the championship title – if they exist.
