It concerns a 56-year-old mother and her 32-year-old daughter, who both live in the same street in Bilthoven. They are suspected of having exploited a woman in the domestic sphere from 2014 to 2021, according to a press release.
The vulnerable woman had to perform household chores within the families of the two, “including violence against her.” The homes of the mother and daughter were searched by the Investigation Service of the Dutch Labor Inspectorate, led by the Functional Public Prosecutor’s Office.
