A woman from Breda looked strange when she came home on the evening of Christmas Day. There was a homeless person in her home in an elderly complex.
The woman was brought home by her son-in-law just before midnight. When the two entered the elderly home on Leuvenaarstraat in Breda, a strange man was sitting on a chair in the living room.
When he saw the woman and her son-in-law, the 34-year-old man fled outside. A security guard from the complex was able to grab him while waiting for the police. It concerns an acquaintance of the police who often wanders through the city and has been arrested several times. It is not yet clear how he entered.
Nothing was stolen from the home. The intruder had only taken some food from the refrigerator and eaten it.
