Woman (87) drives into a traffic sign under the influence and commits a hit-and-run in Knokke-Heist: “Car sold and driver’s license surrendered”

An 87-year-old woman had to appear in the police court of Bruges in West Flanders for causing an accident under the influence and for hit-and-run in the coastal municipality of Knokke-Heist. The woman hit a traffic sign and continued driving, but was chased by police. In the meantime, her family is ensuring that she no longer goes on the road.
