The victim of a robbery at a house on Landgoed De Wielewaal in Eindhoven on Wednesday evening is an 86-year-old woman. The woman was pulled into her house by a man. The suspect, a 33-year-old Eindhoven resident, was later arrested.
According to the police, the woman was pulled into her own home by the man around a quarter past eight in the evening. She managed to free herself, but was injured. The suspect then fled.
Officers on the scene immediately started a search for the suspect. Various units and police dogs were deployed. Neighborhood research was also conducted and Burgernet was used to distribute the suspect’s description.
The man was later arrested. Passers-by would have seen him changing clothes behind a hump on the estate. He’s still stuck. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
