A 19-year-old woman was threatened, kidnapped and extorted in a chalet in Wouwse Plantage. That’s what the police report. She was threatened with firearms by two people and had to transfer money and hand over cash. Two suspects have been arrested.
The 19-year-old woman from Roosendaal had arranged to meet a friend at the chalet park on the Schouwenbaan. There was also a man who they knew at the house. Suddenly, the woman was threatened with firearms by the two others. She had to transfer a lot of money from her account to an account of the two.
She was then taken to an ATM where the victim had to withdraw cash and hand it over to the duo. And then the woman was kicked out of the car in a parking lot.
Gun and money
The threat and extortion were reported to the police. The two suspects were arrested at the chalet park that same evening just after midnight. It concerns a 23-year-old man from Roosendaal and a 20-year-old woman from Wouwse Plantage. A gun and money were seized during the arrest.
The two have been detained and will be questioned on Saturday.
