Wolter Kroes would like to develop into a TV personality, just like a number of fellow singers. “I really like TV, so you never know,” he says.
Many singers are also TV personalities these days. Some go overboard with this, for example Francis van Broekhuizen and Samantha Steenwijk. They seem to be camping at the Media Park these days. On the other hand, there are also singers who are not yet really in the picture on television. One of them is Wolter Kroes.
Walter on TV?
Wolter would like to do some more lucrative TV work, he indicates in the Party. “I like TV a lot, so you never know. But I’m very happy with what I’m doing now. More and more TV is coming my way, there are regularly programs with a request.”
Participation in programs such as Expedition Robinson and Wie is de Mol often acts as a catalyst. After that you see some candidates really popping up everywhere. “Haha, well Expedition Robinson won’t work anyway, because I’ve broken just about every bone in my leg that you can break.”
Not in Expedition
The makers of Expedition Robinson don’t have to call him. “I have so much steel in my legs that I can’t manage those physical tests on that island. That would injure me too much. In daily life I don’t suffer from anything, but I shouldn’t do those trials and games.”
Who is the Mole is also going to be difficult, says Wolter. “I’ve often had requests like this, for TV shows and games, but my schedule often doesn’t allow this because I’m booked up early with performances. Then you can’t go abroad for a while.”
normal things
So the TV world can call Wolter, but for something that he can do in between his performances. “I participate in quite a lot of TV programs, as long as they stay within the schedule that I can continue to do my normal things.
Then it will be great fun for everyone.”
