The police are looking for witnesses to the big fight between several people on Dirk Camphuysenstraat in Heerhugowaard last Friday. During the fighting, a 15-year-old boy from Heerhugowaard was injured. A 42-year-old Heerhugowaarder was arrested. “We’re trying to find out what happened and who was involved.”
Last Friday around 5.45 pm, the police received a report of a conflict at Dirk Camphuysenstraat in Heerhugowaard. There, officers found a 15-year-old Heerhugowaarder with an injured leg. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A man (42) from Heerhugowaard is probably involved and is currently being held for questioning. But what exactly happened is still a mystery to detectives. “Help from witnesses, local residents or those involved is important in this.”
People who were in the area around that time and who saw or heard about the fight, or local residents with camera images, are asked to share the information via the tip form or by contacting them (anonymously) by phone.
