The end of the year is traditionally the period of looking back, annual reviews and presenting important prizes. Such as the Brabander of the Year and the winner of the BrabantQuiz. The TV year will end this year with the theater show of comedian Christel de Laat. Below you will find Omroep Brabant’s end-of-year programming.
Brabander of the year
Monday December 25 (Christmas Day) at 6:45 PM – (TV)
It has been a good habit for years: the announcement of the Brabander of the Year. That happens in the Eftelingtheater. Who was always there for someone else? Who helped someone in need? Five candidates have a chance to win this prestigious title.
A record number of almost 10,000 Brabanders voted for one of these candidates this autumn. In an atmospheric show, all candidates talk about their inspiration, why they do what they do or had to do. Furthermore, Jeffrey Heesen, René Schuurmans and the Zang & Fortunately ensemble sing various Christmas hits.

Tuesday December 26 (Boxing Day) – (TV)
2023 will go down as a turbulent year. Outside, where the weather extremes piled up. In politics, where the farmers caused a landslide. Or on a personal level, where we had to say goodbye to loved ones. And the wrecking ball also went through the building at Omroep Brabant.
