With stars from BVB, FC Bayern & Co.? Vote now for the DFB dream team for the Poland game!

On Friday (8:45 p.m.) the national team has to make amends once more: After the weak Ukraine game, the DFB team meets Poland in Warsaw. We ask in large sport.de-Voting: Which players should national coach Hansi Flick order against Robert Lewandowski and Co. in the starting XI? Who belongs on the bench?

After the 3: 3 (1: 2) in the benefit game against Ukraine, there is disillusionment in the German team around captain Joshua Kimmich: The game again showed well-known weaknesses of the DFB-Elf.

The offensive acted too complicated over long stretches. There was a lack of agreement and coordination in the back team. Again it rained three goals.

Before the German national team’s international test match against Poland, we want to know: which players should national coach Hansi Flick bet on from the start? Who disappointed against Ukraine and belongs on the bench? Or would you bet on players who have not yet played in the current international phase?

sport.de then publishes the poll results and selects the fans’ favorite DFB team for the Poland game!

National team: Hansi Flick wants to “follow his plan”

A ray of hope from a German perspective: Champions League finalists Ilkay Gündogan (Manchester City) and Robin Gosens (Inter Milan) are available again against Poland. As of now, all 26 players in the squad are available to Hansi Flick.

Although the newly introduced three-man defensive line did not work against Ukraine, Flick indicated that he would continue to pursue the concept. “We have a plan as far as the whole thing is concerned. We will continue to follow through with it,” said the national coach after the poor performance in Bremen.

DFB director Rudi Völler is also relaxed about the development of the team. Flick has “the strength to pull the team and himself out of the doldrums,” said the 63-year-old. “The class of play is there, and the boys are really working hard again, they throw themselves into every duel. That’s how you win the hearts of the fans, and that’s how we have to appear at the European Championships,” continued Völler.
