With RAF Camora and Bonez MC: Sony Music announces hip-hop festival BASE! in Oberhausen

BASE! is to be the name of the first hip-hop festival organized by Sony Music Entertainment. It is scheduled to take place on August 5th and 6th, 2022 in Oberhausen on the grounds of the Rudolf Weber ARENA. The 25 artists from across the rap scene will be spread over two days over two stages.
The festival is to take place on an area of around 20,000 square meters and provide space for 25,000 visitors. For those who need a break away from the hustle and bustle of the festival, you can of course also enjoy a snack or drink in the chill areas created for this purpose.
Two stages should provide variety
The rappers RAF Camora and Hamburg’s Bonez MC will be the headliners on Friday. Apache 207 is said to be booked for the following Saturday. In addition, the line-up was filled with artists such as Yung Hurn, Pajel, Viko63 & Penglord, LIZ and Paula Hartmann.
The stages should appear differently. While the BASE! stage will primarily be filled with headliners, the newcomers will find their place on the ABOVEGROUND stage. In addition to hip hop, artists from the New Wave genre will also be represented.
