With M83, Tamino and Los Bitchos: Maifeld Derby 2023 confirms new acts

The program of the “Maifeld Derby” festival in Mannheim on the Maimarkt area is almost complete. Among the bands confirmed so far have been names like Loyle Carner, Noga Erez and Dillon. On Friday, March 10th, the event team announced further artists. Leading the third wave of announcements is the project by Frenchman Anthony Gonzalez, better known as M83.

  • Overmono from UK
  • Baxter Dury, also from the UK
  • Newcomer and Reeperbahn Festival favorite Ekkstacy
  • a British dance punk trio from London called PVA
  • the “Afrofuturist” collective Fulu Miziki
  • the singer Jungstötter from Berlin
  • The Haunted Youth from Belgium
  • the American septet from New York City called Say She She
  • Arousal Public excitement from Hamburg and Berlin
  • Singer Leya from the USA
  • Singer Klara Andersson aka Fågelle
  • a trio from Berlin called Mitsune and
  • the Israelis Agat

The first two price levels (130 euros and 145 euros) are already sold out. Price level 3 (160 euros) and price level 4 (175 euros) as well as three day ticket options remain for festival fans.

The festival will take place this year from June 16th to 18th at the Maimarktgelände in Mannheim, presented by MUSIKEXPRESS. Here are five reasons why the Maifeld Derby is unique.
