“The wish just continues. We are very happy that it worked,” said a spokesperson for the Ambulance Wish Foundation. The organization helps terminally ill people to fulfill their last wish. About two hundred volunteers are committed to this every day. Concert organizer Mojo immediately announced that it would keep in touch with the foundation in order to fulfill the wish.
The Ambulance Wish Foundation shared on Twitter on 13 June that ‘an urgent wish’ had left for the ArenA. “It is for a gentleman (1952) from Leiden, he is going to the Rolling Stones concert in Amsterdam one more time.” Unfortunately, the band had to cancel the performance last minute, when it turned out that Mick Jagger had tested positive for corona. The singer then had to quarantine in Amsterdam for five days.
