On display over 240 original tables between sketches, drawings, storyboard, videos and memorabilia, passing from winx to 44 cats, a Pinocchio and Friends. Iginio Straffi: «In this exhibition there are many rare, important pieces, not only of the Winx obviously that are the most important, but also of Tommy & Oscar, Huntik, Mermaid Magic, Pinocchio and the 44 cats. I am obviously particularly fond of the Wings that have brought us a lot of success all over the world but I could never forget Tommy & Oscar, where all the success of the Rainbow started ».
Over the years, the animation has changed the dad of the Winx, of which a reboot will soon arrive. “The rhythm of the story has increased, in addition to the different technique, they made much more series 2D, two -dimensional and now the CGI technique is used but I would say that it is above all in terms of storytelling and content that are increasingly frenetic because today the boys intend to lose concentration and attention much faster than in the past”.
Fairy tales and magical stories even in a dramatic context like the one we live today. “It is more complicated to invent stories and make dream – said Straffi – But there are particular ingredients that always manage to reach the hearts of the spectators and we try to dose these ingredients well that are precisely adventure, friendship, magic And many other things together with a well -kept music that then manage to arrive with the message we want to communicate “.
