Oops, oops, oops: Robert ten Brink isn’t going to like this. Shortly after his warning to RTL about his future successor to All You Need Is Love, Winston Gerschtanowitz starts sawing the legs of his chair.
Robert ten Brink (70) cannot imagine losing his TV child All You Need Is Love at some point. Yet he is now at an age where the situation is starting to become a bit more dire: how long can he continue to travel from place to place to reunite loved ones? There will come a time when it will be over, but he doesn’t want to know about that yet.
Arrogant
In fact, if RTL considers replacing him at All You Need, Robert will first demand a cooling-off period of several years. From one year to the next with a different presenter, he would consider it an insult. And that has brought him criticism from VI; they find it arrogant that Robert thinks he is irreplaceable.
Curiously enough, in the midst of this media uproar, Winston Gerschtanowitz announces that he would really like to take over All You Need from Robert. He was watching this year’s edition on Christmas Eve and immediately started to get the itch. And Winston can still go along for a while, because he is 21 years younger than Robert.
‘Do it for free!’
Winston is like that eager to take over All You Need, he wouldn’t even have to pay a fee from RTL. “Hey RTL, if Robert ten Brink ever stops with All You Need Is Love, I am willing to take it over for free. Love as a savings item in times of cutbacks! What a wonderful program,” he writes. Instagram.
He seriously hopes it will happen. “I think I just find this the most beautiful form of TV. Making people happy with love! Enjoying it, right!?!”
Helper Elf
Then someone points out that Robert still likes to do the show himself. “Well, hopefully Robert ten Brink will continue for years to come!!,” says this Norwegian.
Winston then: “I hope so too, of course. Maybe a helper elf then haha.”
