As a sister Suus infusion, Iveke made a big impression with a buut full of dry humor and sleek one -liners and the audience and the professional jury greatly appreciated that. The laughing salvos waved through the case.

Iveke is only the third woman who manages to win the prestigious silver hood. Toos van Stiphout was the first in 1979 and in 2012 Kitty Goverde succeeded her. When the grandmaster expressed the name of Iveke as the third female winner of the Zilveren Narrenkap, the emotions came to Iveke Los.

“I can’t believe it,” Ikeke stammered afterwards. “I did not expect that I would win. I didn’t feel busy. I was able to play very well. I wanted to play the very best version of Suus infusion and I think this was successful. I thought: if I have the audience from the First joke ‘Pak’, then I may have a little chance. “

This year a public prize was also awarded for the first time during the Keiebijters Klet Tournament. The public could vote for her favorite of the evening via a special QR code. The grandmaster professionally built up the tension, but eventually called the same name: Iveke van Gerwen.

“That means that everyone enjoyed this buut and appreciated it,” concludes the winner. Her fellow toners took up their loss, bows for the new Opperkletsmajoor and then traditionally on their shoulders.

‘Dapping, I’m going to miss this’
It was also a special evening for Boy Jansen. He participated for the last time in the Keiebijters Klet Tournament. “I noticed at the end that I became emotional. Double, I’m going to miss this.”

Many people expected Jansen to win the fools because this was his farewell bute. “But Iveke was really the very best this evening. If I wish someone, it is she.”
