There is a great willingness among doctors to deconvention. This is the conclusion of the Belgian Association of Doctors Syndicates (BVAS) based on an online survey it conducted. This may have consequences for your doctor’s visit: a doctor who has been contracted adheres to the agreed rate. A deconventional doctor may charge supplementary fees that are entirely at the expense of the patient.
