In the sights of several top clubs
Will Antonio Rüdiger return to his former club?

Antonio Rüdiger’s future remains exciting. His contract with Real is expiring and some top clubs have already targeted the defender.
Antonio Rüdiger has apparently been targeted by several top clubs. As the Spanish newspaper “As” reports, the German international could soon wear the Chelsea FC jersey again. Accordingly, the English first division club is planning a return campaign after Rüdiger’s engagement with the “Blues” from 2017 to 2022. At that time he then moved to Real Madrid. He is under contract there until summer 2026.
But Chelsea is not said to be the only interested party in the central defender: in Turkey there is speculation about Rüdiger’s possible move to Galatasaray Istanbul, while in France Paris Saint-Germain is apparently watching developments closely.
According to Spanish media, there are currently no concrete signs of a contract extension between Real and Rüdiger. In this respect, a change in the summer would be more realistic than a departure in the winter – because there are personnel problems.
After the serious injury to Éder Militao (torn thigh muscle and tendon injury), Real is in need of personnel in the defense center. The young alternatives Raúl Asencio and Dean Huijsen have also shown fluctuations in form recently.
