The tycoon and richest man in the world has achieved line up large numbers of people against him, after he announced a whole series of draconian measures with which he has earned his hatred. The first one was allow verification in exchange for a Twitter Blue subscription. In this way, users who want to verify their accounts will have to pay a certain amount of money to the company for it.

However, one of the things that has scaled the most has been layoffs. More than half of the company has gone to the streets, including the entire Spanish division, although their dismissal is illegal and UGT plans to file a complaint for it.

In any case, the company is in a dire situation. Elon Musk wants to monetize it to the fullest when he arrived assuring that he would be a champion of freedom of expression, which has led to major failures in the trust that was placed in him to carry out the reform of the company.
