It is not certain, but there are signs: Nick Frost could possibly slip into the role of Hagrid for the “Harry Potter” series. What speaks for it? What about it?
What the rumor mill gives
According to “Deadline”, the British actor and comedian Nick Frost seems to be standing for the part of the Halbriesen Rubus Hagrid shortly before the contract signature. He would join John Lithgow, who has already confirmed that he would embody Albus Dumbledore in the new series. But HBO rejected a comment on this rumor. “We are aware that such a top -class series causes many rumors and speculations,” said a spokesman. “Since we are in pre -production, we will only confirm details when we have concluded the contracts.”
And yet: Nick Frosts Instagram activities are probably enough for fans to think of it for the series Hagrid. His followers: Inside, saw an Instagram post by the actor on March 20 with the caption “What a damn great day! It happens, it actually happens. Stay calm” as a possible reference to his “Harry Potter” participation. The Briton John Lithgow also follows on Instagram, which was taken as a further sign of a job concept.
Nick Frosts Instagram post:
Why he could give Hagrid in concrete terms is obvious for many fans because of the look and its kind. Because Hagrid is the warm -hearted gamekeeper and a space from the magician school in Hogwarts, which is finally professor for the care of magical creatures and by a large part of the students: only in the inside. The figure embodied Robbie Coltrane in all eight “Harry Potter” films.
For a decade, the series should illustrate every detail of the books
The “Harry Potter” series, which is said to run for over a decade, comes from the author and show runner Francesca Gardiner and the director and executing producer Mark Mylod.
Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, described the series in the original announcement as a “faithful adaptation” of the novels by JK Rowling, which “will dive deeply into each of the iconic books”.
Nick Frost already played in imaginative films
The 52-year-old Frost will be shown next in the live action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon”, which is already finished.
