Manuel Neuer played his last game for FC Bayern on October 8th, beating BVB 2-2. Since then, the national goalkeeper has been out with a shoulder injury and is being replaced by Sven Ulreich.
He could also be between the posts against Mainz 05. According to “Kicker” and “Bild”, Neuer should not be operational again until Tuesday at the earliest against Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Julian Nagelsmann will have to do without the injured Lucas Hernandez and Leroy Sané against Mainz.
