It seems that the men of Today Inside are no longer satisfied with their table guest Job Knoester, say RTL Boulevard faces Luuk Ikink and Rob Goossens. “Not to 2025.”

Luuk Ikink and Rob Goossens speculate in their BLVD Podcastin which they remain continuously silent about the bizarre censorship of their program RTL Boulevard, about the TV future of Job Knoester. The presenters have the strong idea that the criminal lawyer has worn off a bit on television and that the men of Today Inside want to get rid of him.

‘Are you still having fun?’

The chemistry is no longer there, according to Rob, who has been controversial in recent weeks because of his ChatGPT mistress. “Job Knoester, I think even Johan is now a bit fed up with that.”

Luuk thinks the same way. “Yes, Wilfred asked Job Knoester this week: ‘Do you still like it? Are you having a good time? Do you actually like the programme?’ He: ‘Yes, I’m comfortable here.’ In fact, he hadn’t put anything in for the entire half hour. Then he was asked a question about the Erasmus shooter.”

Little input

Even with such a subject, Job doesn’t really get off his feet, according to Luuk. “Well, that was a one-minute item. I think he has been contributing so little lately and then Johan makes a joke and then you hear him say: ‘Hahaha, you know he’s coming, but he’s so nice!’ Jesus, act normal for a moment! That went a bit far.”

The men of VI don’t like him that much anymore either, according to Luuk. “I kind of got the feeling that they are thinking: Job Knoester, I don’t know if that will have to happen that often in 2025.”

A change

Rob suggests moving Merel Ek to the table and then Job back to the bar. “Yes, maybe just a change. He goes to the bar and when there are things he knows about… The audience of the program knows him, trusts him in his expertise and then Merel sits at the table.”

Luuk: “Exactly, good change indeed.”

Applause

Merel is a really popular guest, according to Luuk. “That applause she gets, that says something, right, about just a bar guest. Chris Woerts doesn’t get that kind of big applause. She gets the biggest applause.”

Rob thinks the switch will be a success. “Sometimes you have to do something to get the injection back. The program could use some time. A little sting won’t hurt. Let Merel Ek be the inspiration.”

Funny, coming from a program where the jab is completely gone.
