It is really striking how often we suddenly see Jada Borsato everywhere to stand up for her father Marco Borsato. But are all those interviews really that useful? “She has to be careful.”

Jada Borsato has not missed any opportunity lately to shed light on the fornication case against her father Marco Borsato. Is that really useful? Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden asks in the podcast Strictly Private to Evert Santegoeds: “What do you think Marco Borsato thinks of his daughter Jada who gives interviews everywhere?”

“Jada, be careful!”

Private boss Evert has mixed feelings about it. “Yeah, well, I don’t know. Of course she’s very clear that she’s for her father and that she loves him and supports him and believes in his innocence and all that, but yeah, you know…”

“They have had such a strict no-press regime in recent years that it is possible that in her enthusiasm she says something that goes completely wrong. She has to watch out for that.”

Jada must be careful not to make any mistakes, according to Evert. “I think now is the time – December 4 is getting closer – when you have to calm down for a while and wait and see what happens. Then she can jump for joy or insist that she still believes in her father’s innocence.”

Jordi: “It strikes me so much, because we always get those invitations to those red carpets, and she is usually just there. She really doesn’t avoid it.”

Evert concludes: “Yes, Maik de Boer and her, yes!”
