Report: Will BVB snatch a talent from Bayern?

The Black and Yellows want to strengthen themselves further – and are apparently thinking about a young player from their big rival FC Bayern.
Paul Wanner is currently on loan from FC Bayern Munich to 1. FC Heidenheim. The 18-year-old should continue to develop there in order to ideally take on an important role for the German record champions in a few years.
Or is there a sudden dramatic change? According to reports, Wanner is suddenly on the radar of Bayern’s big rival – who are now apparently thinking more and more seriously about signing the midfielder. Because “Bild” reported on Tuesday: Borussia Dortmund is watching Wanner.
BVB has been keeping an eye on the teenager for a long time and is following every little step in his development with great interest. Recently there has been increased talk about Wanner in the Black and Yellow management team. He can be trusted to reach Champions League level – and Dortmund wants to get there. Wanner himself also has the goal of being a regular player for a participant in the “premier class” next season – a goal that he will certainly not achieve with Heidenheim.
Given the competitive situation in the club’s midfield, it is also questionable whether he will get his playing time straight away when he returns to Munich. At this point, BVB hopes to have the arguments on its side. According to the report, the Revierklub should also consider a loan if Bayern do not want to sell Wanner directly.
However, there have been no concrete negotiations or discussions so far, notes “Bild”. But: The Wanner side is informed about the interest from Dortmund.
Wanner has immediately become a regular player in Heidenheim and has played 21 competitive games for the von der Brenz club so far this season, scoring six goals and assisting two more goals.
