Wilfred Genee jokingly threatens to demote Rutger Castricum to the bar if he remains so boring in Today Inside. Yet we suddenly saw him yesterday in the overdrive. “Evidence.”
It was one of Rutger Castricum’s most embarrassing TV appearances ever: the broadcast of Today Inside in which he was completely walked over and ridiculed for his new glasses. He sat at the table with his mouth full of teeth. Is this the same Rutger who dragged the blood from under the nails of politicians for years and downright harassed them?
Dear boy
Rutger was really embarrassed, after which colleague Victor Vlam criticized him as ‘too boring’. Why does Rutger say he is so shy at the VI table? He thinks that is really the show of the three men.
After the fierce criticism, Rutger sat at the table again last night Today Inside. And it was clear that he was in the overdrive fed up. That he wanted to prove himself was especially evident when he called the new BBB leader Henk Vermeer a ‘very nice, sweet guy’. When he feared that the men at the table would not hear, he quickly repeated it.
What does Victor think?
What does Victor Vlam think of Rutger’s new energy? “Rutger has clearly decided to be more spirited and more present,” he writes X. “It’s a small improvement.”
Rutger sat next to Raymond Mens at the table on the Gijp-loze Wednesday. “It is also striking that Rutger’s experiment number is so much to fill Albert’s gap on Wednesday,” says Victor.
Not enthusiastic
Victor’s followers are not enthusiastic. “I’m not a fan of Castricum. What a forced, obligatory performance. Raymond Mens is always good, he is just himself and completely fine!”, says one.
And the other: “Rutger is really a jerk. He thinks he can replace René with gay jokes. It’s really starting to get annoying.”
To the bar
Wilfred Genee asks Rutger in the section after the broadcast In The Walkways where he prefers to sit: Today Inside or De Oranjezondag. “Why should you choose? They are two different programs, I think.”
Wilfred then says: “That is a political answer. Where do you feel more comfortable?”
It then remains silent for literally seconds: Rutger slams again. “You don’t like me asking you this, I notice. You’re not looking forward to this,” says Wilfred.
To the bar
Colleague Raymond Mens gives an immediate answer: at the bar at VI. Rutger: “I don’t actually have a very clear preference.”
Wilfred teasing: “Maybe Rutger should try that too, there at the bar. Hahaha. I don’t know, maybe you…”
He doesn’t finish his sentence and that might be for the best: Rutger’s face is once again extremely uncomfortable.
