LOS ANGELES – The forest fires in the north of the American metropolis of Los Angeles are spreading in several places due to strong winds. Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated. The largest fire is burning in the upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood, which borders the Santa Monica Mountains north of Los Angeles. At least 13,000 buildings there are threatened by the fire.
