With an emergency ordinance, the police can do more: separate groups of young people and, if necessary, order them to leave Zandvoort. Those who cause nuisance may be fined. “We are talking about really large groups here. Not about three or four young people,” he explains.

Carree sees that they come to Zandvoort separately and gather on the boulevard. This mainly happens in the part between the north and south sides of the village.
