Frans Duijts has a pretty bad image, because the Dutch do not like his fats at all. The low point? When he invited a camera crew from Shownieuws to pick up his new Ferrari. Such egotripperij is rarely shown on Dutch television and that has led to massive criticism.
Near-death experience
Why is French like that? It is all due to a near-death experience, he says in the Weekend. “I dropped ten meters down in 2002. On an asbestos job, when we removed plates. The safety net was anchored in the wrong way, making me a free fall.”
