Why does a hairdresser refuse you if you have lice?

Hairdresser Amerens Visser confirms that hairdressers do not treat people with lice. “This has to do with the contamination. Lice are very contagious. If I’ve had someone in the salon with lice, I have to disinfect everything. Not just the combs, scissors and capes, but the entire salon. It should not be the case that other customers get lice by visiting the hair salon.”
