Unbelievable but true: Rob Jetten, Dilan Yesilgöz and Henri Bontenbal have chosen the ailing RTL Tonight for the TV presentation of their coalition agreement. “RTL pulls the wallet.”
The new incoming Prime Minister Rob Jetten and his coalition partners Dilan Yesilgöz and Henri Bontenbal will give their first TV interview tomorrow evening to the ailing RTL Tonight. Will Peter van der Vorst take Renze Klamer off the bench for that? No. Beau van Erven Dorens and Leonie ter Braak were chosen.

Last year Beau was in a bubble bath with Rob for his other celebrity program and until recently Leonie was popping balloons in another show. “Huh? Not at Pauw & De Wit????”, TV authority Tina Nijkamp calls out to her analysis channel. “That would have made the most sense. Oh wait, they don’t have a broadcast on Friday.”
What a mistake that Jeroen Pauw and Tim de Wit are missing such an important TV interview, says Tina. “Really bizarre. High time that show also came on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And what about Sven Kockelmann with his Café Kockelmann? That was skipped by the parties. ouch. And so this goes to the commercial companies instead of the NPO. Historically yes.”

Why is RTL such an attractive party for Rob, Dilan and Henri? “It was going to be recorded in De Zwaluuwenberg in Hilversum. Why did the politicians choose Beau and Leonie and not Sven? Think viewing figures. RTL Tonight is on Friday after The Voice. Perhaps also a less critical interview?”
And, Tina concludes: “Rumors have it that RTL wanted to pay the extra costs for location recording. Politicians themselves wanted the recording in the Zwaluwenberg instead of the studio, are the rumours.”
