The guests trickle in, including Henk Koning. “I am alone and cooking for yourself is not fun, so I eat at the city kitchen twice a month. I try to cook, but I have also thrown it in the trash.”
Cook René creates crumbly potatoes, string beans and a slavink for everyone. “It is my heart when people are sitting alone at home and then eating soup for three days. I want people to have contact and eat well.”
