Who threatened, assaulted and robbed 73-year-old Limmense in her own home?

The victim of the robbery in Limmen appears to be a 73-year-old woman. The police are now revealing that two men may have robbed and assaulted her – one perpetrator probably suffered a wound himself.

It is around half past two in the morning when the lady in a house on the Hogeweg wakes up with a fright from ringing glass, according to the police. It is in the street between the Burgemeester Nieuwenhuijsenstraat and Het Achterkant.

When the resident comes downstairs, she sees that two robbers have broken a window and entered her house. The 73-year-old is then threatened and abused by the two, according to the first investigation. The lady suffered a head injury.

Possible injured perpetrator

One of the robbers is believed to have injured his hand. The two thieves then quickly off with an (unknown) loot – how and where to is unknown.

The woman was received and cared for by the paramedics, but there is still no trace of the perpetrators. The police investigation is on-going.

The police are looking for two men, both between 20 and 25 years old and around 1.80 meters tall. One suspect is light-skinned and wore light clothing with a hood during the robbery. The other suspect has a tinted skin and wore dark clothing, also with a hood. The police are calling to give evidence to report yourself via 0900-8844.
